America gets a new President

My mommy and daddy kept talking about something called a new President, Mr Obama........ not sure who he is, not so sure mommy and daddy liked him, but almost all my friends mommies and daddies liked him so we decided to have a very early play date to watch him be "sworn in" ( big words for a little guy huh?? thanks mommy!)

So we had my friends come over and Mommy dressed me in a cute outfit that I almost outgrew and we partied!! See??

We had fun, we all bounced, ate and Evan got to watch the Inaguration, he does not watch much tv but it was a special day and his mommy said it was ok just today! I loved having my friends over! Thanks guys!!!

Catching up January to Feburary 2009

I am back, Mommy is really not being so good at keeping up on my page so I fussed at her and bam, here she is!!!

January was a quieter month for me, I was so sick at the start of the new year that Mommy made me go back to the Doctor's office to be checked out and then they gave me ANOTHER shot! But sneeky Mommy and Daddy, they sang to me "the wheels on the bus" and I did not feel the shot go in but I did get very sleepy later on!!!

I did get one big suprise Mommy and Daddy took me to my friend Jake's house one night and LEFT me there! I got to play with Jakie and his Mommy and Daddy all night while Mommy and Daddy went out to a "thing" for a Daddies work! I had so much fun!!!

It is so cold in Washington state in January that we did not go out much, but we got to go to lots of play dates at other people's houses! I love to play! I get to see my friends and that is lots of fun! I missed them all when I was at Mimi and Papa O's house then sick when I got home.

On January 6th Mommy and I and our friends Mrs Christina and her son Jake and Mrs Allison and her daughter Abby had a suprise lunch for Mrs Katy with her son Evan. Mommy and Mr Ian, Evan's daddy, were sneeky and planned a lunch and got all our friends there and Mrs Katy was so suprised! It was fun....... I would show you a picture... but mommy lost it! Bad bad mommy!

On January 9th I learned new trick! I kind of fell over then I decided well I am down here why not see what life looks like from my tummy! Wheeeee that was fun so I started to do it lots and lots and that is how I learned to roll over! I thought it was normal but Mommy and Daddy thougth is was a MAJOR thing and called people to tell them what I was doing, it must have been a good thing so kept doing it! No big deal right? So mommy took lots of pictures of me falling then rolling over you can see them below!

We had lots of play time with friends! I got to go to my friend Abby's house, and my friend Lilly's house and my friend Natalie's house! I have lots of girl friends! I love play dates!!!

Well that is all for now I have more to tell you in the next post, it is all about our new President, mommy threw a party very early in the morning... she grumbled about it but more about that later! Kisses to all my friends and family!!!

catching up from Dec 2008

Mommy and Daddy have not been on here to blog about me in a while so I made Mommy get on and give an an update on me!

In December my Daddy took the WHOLE month off of work just for me!!! We were able to stay home, play, go out and do what ever we wanted and I was the center of attention, just like I like it!!!

I got to see my first snow! It was weird, cold and wet but it was fun! See Daddy and I playing in the snow in a snow suit that Nanna and Grandad sent me.

I did not like the Dr appointment mommy and daddy made me go to in December, they gave me 4 shots and I cried hard and got sick. I scared mommy when I got a temp of 103 degree's at 3am and would not stop crying! I did not feel good at all and I was telling everyone!! When I finally felt better I slept a LOT, ( I think mommy and daddy did too!)

In the middle of the month we took a LONG trip in the car, we took my dogs Hana and Callie and mommy and daddy and we drove about 1800 miles to Colorado Springs Colorado. It was not fun for me! I had to stay in my car seat long hours and I got bored, so I slept, I "talked" and I laughed at daddy who sat in the back with me a lot! I did not get to get out of the car much because it was to cold! Here I am in the car letting EVERYONE know I was tired of being in my seat!!! We had fun though, we sang Christmas songs, and listened to movies and looked at lots of snow out the window. There was one day it was very scary, we had to much snow that mommy could not see the road while she was driving and we had to go very very slow. A BIG truck had a problem and it as mommy and daddy said "jack knifed" in the road, I say it broke in half! It was scary! I think I have a picture of that too!

After the LONG and scary car ride we made it to my mommy's house she grew up in!!! I was at Mimi and Papa O's!! It was CHRISTMAS!!!

But before I could open the mounds of presents I had something special to do, I had to be baptised by Pastor Jim! It was weird for me, I was being held by Daddy in this long cloak that he wore when he was baptised and I had COLD water put on my head! But I know it was a special day for Mommy and Daddy, Uncle Jon and Mimi and Papa O, they all ( well not daddy) cried, we had a very special prayer ALL FOR ME and there were lots of people looking at me!Here we are!!! I also got presents and a big lunch after Church, Mommy fed me some fruit from her plate! It was GOOD!!!

Then it was Christmas time! I got LOTS of presents! I was spoiled!!! My family had to help me open the presents 'cause I am not so good using my hands yet! I got toys, stuffed animals, frames for my cute photo's socks and lots of clothes ( ok mommy next year I want more toys and less clothes!!! Clothes are for girls, I am a BOY!!!)

After Christmas, I started not to feel so good again! I had a bad cough, a very runny nose and a fever! Mommy and Daddy worried about me, so did Mimi and Uncle Jon, Papa O knew I was fine, he is a smart guy, but Mommy and Daddy decided to take me to the Dr's office since we had to drive back to Washington a few days later! Yup, I was sick! I had broncholotis ( easy for me to say mommy has to spell and type it!) There was nothing that the Dr could do to make me feel better... with feeling so yucky I decided to stop eating much, that upset Mommy because I lost weight! I was scaring mommy and daddy and Mimi and Papa O a little. I knew my body would make it all better soon!!!

So sadly after 13 days with my Mimi and Papa O we had to go home, back in the car, sick and sleepy I went, back with the dogs and the cold and ALL THOSE PRESENTS for me!
