Jason goes on a ferry

On Saturday August 15Th Sacha, Jason and I joined our friends David, Tonya, their kids Jackson and Carly on our first ferry ride in Seattle. We went to Bremerton. The ride was a first for Me as well! I have always had a fear of ferries but I "sucked it up" and in the end I had a blast!

On the way out to the island we were standing out side and Jackson pointed out the seals laying in the sun on the dingies!
Once on the island we all "chilled" out at Fritz's, snacked on french fries with dipping sauce, while Jackson and Carly had ice cream and Jason had a bottle! ( Yummy)

We were able to walk around and see the destroyer ship that was in the start of the Vietnam War and enjoy the AC in the gift shop.

We also saw all the star-fish that come to the island for birthing their starfish children (not sure what they are called).

On the way back we were on a boat full of Seattle Seahawk fans as they were on the way to the first home season opener.
We also saw the cruise ships leaving the port. it was beautiful with down-town behind them along with the Space Needle.

We finished off the day at friends of David and Tonya's for pizza and chatting! It was a great day and it ended great where Jason slept for 7 hours for the second night in a row................. is this the start of sleeping through the night???

Here is picture of our little sailor on his boat ride with his cute little hat!
